MELBOURNE, Fla. - Tech hosted D'Youville for the first of two afternoon midweek games during Spring Break for the scholar-athletes. The Panthers dominated the Saints to pick up their sixth win in a row. Â

STATS OF GAME:Â
- In the third inning Josh Ford hit a RBI sacrifice fly to right field then Sam Schner drilled a 2-RBI single to center field to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead.Â
- A RBI triple down the right field line from Brett Parrish and a wild pitch that scored Parrish gave Tech two more runs in the third inning. Â
- The Panthers extended their lead to 7-0 in the fourth inning with RBI singles to right field by Ford and Schner. Â
- The Saints scored their only run of the afternoon on an infield error in the sixth inning. Â
- A RBI infield single from Schner and a bases-loaded hit by pitch gave Tech two runs in the sixth inning. Â
- Later in the sixth inning, a RBI fielder's choice from Hayden Kimball and then an outfield error gave the Panthers an 11-1 lead. Â
- A RBI single to right field in the seventh inning from Joseph Phan that plated Luca Wentzel gave Tech its 12th and final run. Â
- RHP Danny Vassallo threw five scoreless innings to pick up the win for the Panthers. He gave up three hits and struck out six. Â
- RHP Aiden Beechy threw three innings in relief while giving up one unearned run on two hits with four strikeouts.Â
- RHP Andrew Dunham made his first appearance of the year in the ninth inning. He gave up two hits and struck out two in a scoreless frame. Â
- RHP Harrison Lough took the loss for D'Youville. Five runs, only one of which were earned, were given to his name. He gave up two hits, walked seven and struck out three. Â
- Schner led the Panthers with three hits and Tech had 11 hits as a team. Â
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:Â
- The Panthers move to 1-0 all-time D'Youville.Â
- Schner recorded his 100th career hit at Florida Tech. Â
- Garrett is riding a 10-game hitting streak. Â
