SAINT LEO, Fla. - Tech needed a doubleheader sweep of Saint Leo to secure its second consecutive series win. Behind strong starting pitching, the Panthers did just that to come back to Melbourne 4-2 in SSC play.

STATS OF GAME 1:
	- Gabe Garrett drove in the first run of the game in the fifth inning on a RBI single to right field that scored Hayden Kimball, who reached on a infield error. 
- In the sixth inning, Roman Samson hit a RBI single to left-center field that scored Alec Eldridge.  
- Later in the sixth inning, Sam Schner scored Josh Ford with a RBI groundout to first base that gave Tech a 3-0 lead. 
- Zach Benson knocked a RBI double down the left-field line to get the Lions on the board in the sixth inning. 
- The Panthers earned an insurance run in the eighth inning as Schner laid down a RBI sacrifice bunt that scored Alec Eldridge. 
- RHP Sean Means took the win, working five innings and giving up one earned run on four hits. He struck out four and walked two. 
- Pitching the final four innings to pick up his third save of the year was RHP Ridge Skarbek. He gave up two hits and struck out four batters. 
- Garrett had two hits to lead the Panthers who had six hits as a team. 
STATS OF GAME 2:
	- Tech took advantage of a infield error in the first inning that scored two runs. 
- Later in the first inning, Schner knocked a RBI single that drove in Ford to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead. 
- Eddie Niemann got Saint Leo on the board with a RBI groundout to shortstop in the fourth inning. 
- The Panthers responded in the fifth inning with two runs on RBI sacrifice fly's from Eldridge and Ford. 
- Niemann launched a 2-run home run to left field for the Lions in the sixth inning to cut the Panthers lead to 5-3. 
- Saint Leo cut its deficit to one run in the seventh inning on a RBI single to right-center field by Cooper Miles. 
- The Lions advanced a runner to third base in the ninth inning, but RHP Ethan Stephens shut the game down with a strikeout to end the game. 
- RHP Dylan Cleveland was the winning pitcher for Tech with five and one-third innings pitched. He gave up two unearned runs on three hits with two strikeouts. 
- RHP Danny Vassallo threw one and one-third innings giving up two runs, only one of which was earned. Saint Leo had three hits off Vassallo and he walked one batter. 
- Stephens picked up the save, his third of the season. He worked two and one-third scoreless innings while giving up one hit with three strikeouts. 
- Tech had 10 hits with Blackstone and Samson leading the way with two hits each.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
	- The Panthers move to 64-93-1 all-time against Saint Leo.
- This is Florida Tech's first away series win at Saint Leo since the 2017 season.
