OCALA, Fla.- Florida Tech women's swimming wrapped up the fifth and final day of the 2024 SSC Swimming Championship in Ocala, Florida on Sunday, February 17^th as Florida Tech's women found themselves finishing the championship in sixth place 229 points.
 
The Sharks of Nova Southeastern who led all five days were crowned the 2024 SSC Swimming Champions, having collected 1025 points. Placing second in the championship standings was Tampa with 821 points followed by Lynn in third place with 498 points.
 
In the women's 100 Free, Katherine Helminiak represented the Panthers in the A finals as she placed seventh in the event with a time of 52.65.
 
In the A Finals of the 400 Free Relay, Helminiak, Miranda Olhasso, Brieleigh Wescott and Maja Malarz placed fifth with a time of 3:31.32 while Tech's B Relay Final team of Casey Holder, Mina Lynch, Brynn Romberger and Harper Powell took home fifth swimming the event in 3:34.00.

Up Next: The Panthers will next look to see who will be selected to compete at the 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship in Geneva, Ohio from March 13^th – March 17^th.
