MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Panthers welcomed Lynn to Rick Stottler Field on Saturday night for the SSC quarterfinal. It was an eventful night for the Panthers as two program records were broken, and Tech earned an overtime victory over Lynn to advance to the SSC semifinals.
With the first assist of the game,
Zach Rozgonyi breaks the all-time program record for career assists. With his overtime goal,
Collin Stewart became the new program leader for career hat tricks.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

FIRST QUARTER:
- The Panthers opened the quarterfinal match with a 3-1 run and outshot Lynn 14-4 in the first quarter.
- Collin Stewart tallied Tech's first goal of the day on an assist from Zach Rozgonyi. Rozgonyi's assist broke the program record for career assists.
- Joe Coveleski scored on an unassisted effort to put the Panthers up 2-0 with 8:40 to go.
- Brooks Van Esselstyn capped off the run off a feed from Rozgonyi.
- Lynn tallied their first goal with 4:01 left to make it a 3-1 margin.
SECOND QUARTER:
- Lynn cut the Panthers lead to one, outscoring Tech 3-2.
- Cam McKee netted the first goal of the second period to give Tech a 4-1 cushion.
- Lynn recorded their second goal at 7:18 before Rozgonyi brought the lead back to three goals.
- Lynn scored two unanswered goals to cut the margin, 5-4.
- Both Panther goals were assisted by Stewart.
THIRD QUARTER:
- The Panthers went on a 3-1 run to extend their lead back out to three goals.
- Jonah Borynec netted his lone tally of the game off an assist from Luke Policke with 13:01 on the clock.
- Ben Foster then scored unassisted to put the Panthers up 7-4 with 9:28 to go in the third.
- Lynn scored their lone goal of the period with 5:05 to go before Stewart's quick stick goal off an assist from Rozgonyi put the Panthers back at a three goal advantage.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Lynn responded in the fourth by shutting down Tech and taking a 4-1 run to force overtime.
- The Panther's lone goal in the period was scored by McKee with 6:19 left in the quarter.
- Both goalies recorded two saves over the final five minutes.
OVERTIME:
- Stewart came through a minute and 15 seconds into the overtime period as he scored the game-winner, and completed his hat-trick off an assist from Foster to send the Panthers to the SSC Semifinal.

- Lynn ended with an advantage in shots (40-38), shots on goal (23-17) and ground balls (26-22).
- Florida Tech went 21-23 on clears, while Lynn went 18-22.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Florida Tech moves to 8-4 all-time against the Fighting Knights.
- This marks Tech's second post-season win against Lynn.
- With the first assist of the game, Zach Rozgonyi broke the program's career assist record.
- Collin Stewart's overtime goal marked in 100th career goal in a Panther uniform.
- Stewart's hat trick marked his 19th career hat trick, which is the most ever by a Panther.
- Jax Francisco moved up to second all-time for most saves in a season.
