STATS OF THE MATCH
  • Nova Southeastern came out aggressive from the kickoff, firing three shots on target in the opening minutes. Tech goalkeeper Elias Ronning Orn stood tall, stopping all three to keep the game scoreless.
  • The Panthers flipped the momentum in the 9th minute with back-to-back shots on goal from Caio de Amorim de Deus and Mario Rekirsch. Just over four minutes later, an attempt from Armando Loynaz struck the top post.
  • After a pair of saves from the Sharks' keeper, Logan Collins capitalized on a rebound, burying the ball in the net at 15:16 to give Tech the 1-0 lead.
  • The rest of the half belonged to the Panthers, who added seven more shots while holding Nova Southeastern without a single attempt in the final 30 minutes. Tech entered halftime up 1-0.
  • The second half brought more of the same, with the Panthers outshooting the Sharks 10-7.
  • Antonio Di Gaudio nearly doubled the lead in the 50th minute with two close chances.
  • From the 61st to 65th minutes, Tech continued to apply pressure, firing four more shots—two of them on target.
  • Later in the match, Amorim tested the Sharks' keeper twice, but both efforts were stopped.
  • Despite controlling play on both ends for nearly the entire match, a defensive lapse in the 89th minute proved costly. A foul inside the box gave Nova Southeastern a penalty, which the Sharks converted with 1:53 remaining to seal the 1-1 draw.
