- Tonight's match opened with a long rally before the Panthers earned the first point. Isabelle Clark earned her first kill of the night, and Tech opened up a 2-0 lead.
- The Sharks got on the board with a small run but kills from Cordelia Kearns and Ayisha Missipo kept the match even at 6-6.
- Both teams continued to trade points until Nova went on another run to take a 16-11 lead.
- Elisa Broggio earned a service ace, and the Panther back line was able to force a Shark attack error, but NSU still led 21-13 late in the first set.
- Kenzie Delacher and Cordelia Kearns gave Tech life with big kills, but the Sharks were able to close out the set and take a 1-0 lead in the match.
Second Set: Florida Tech 25, Nova Southeastern 21
- Nova opened up the second set with a 6-0 lead but there was no panic in the Panthers.
- Tech stormed back with a huge run of thier own and took the lead 9-8. This run was sparked by great defense from the back row and huge kills from Cordelia Kearns.
- Both teams again traded points before a 3-0 shark run gave Nova a 14-11 lead.
- Skarlett Kimbrell put an end to the run on a set play from the middle and after a big block from her and Elisa Broggio, Tech was back in striking distance.
- A Shark attack error and a Cordelia Kearns kill tied the set up at 16 before another big block from the front row gave the Panthers a 17-16 lead.
- Each side again went blow for blow until a Ayisha Missipo and Cordelia Kearns combined for four straight kills and gave the Panthers a 24-21 lead.
- Another Tech block (Kimbrell and Broggio) gave the Panthers the set win and tied the match up at 1-1
Third Set: Florida Tech 23, Nova Southeastern 25
- Looking to continue her excellent night, Cordelia Kearns opened up the third set with her 16th kill.
- Much like the second set, Nova jumped out to a huge lead early, leading 9-3.
- Unlike the second set, Tech was unable to claw back despite kills from Elisa Broggio and Cordelia Kearns.
- With the score 16-11 Sharks, Nova used another run to extend the lead and hit the 20-point mark.
- Broggio and Devyn Glassgold earned kills to try and keep Tech in the match, but too many other errors kept the deficit at 6+ points.
- With their backs against the wall trailing 23-15, the Panthers went on a heater to try and close the gap.
- The Panthers got three big blocks from Isabelle Clark and kills from Cordelia Kearns/Devyn Glassgold in an electric comeback effort that saw Tech cut the lead down to 24-23.
- However, it was not enough as Nova found the last point they needed to win the set and take a 2-1 lead.
Fourth Set: Florida Tech 23, Nova Southeastern 25
- Needing a big response after a close set loss, Tech opened up the fourth set with a 6-0 lead with kills from 3 different Panthers.
- Tech continued to dominate the set early, leading 9-1 through the first ten points.
- Much like how the panthers have fought back in the match, the Sharks did the same in the fourth set. Nova used a huge run to begin closing the gap.
- The Sharks cut the Panther lead to just 11-9 but kills from Broggio and Missipo kept Tech out in front.
- After both sides traded points, the Sharks used another run to not just tie the match up at 18 but take their first lead of the set.
- The Nova run did come to a close with a kill from Cordelia Kearns but tech still trailed 20-19.
- A big-time service ace (Courtney Capar) followed by an electric block from Isabelle Clark shot the Panthers back in front 21-20.
- Both sides again traded points but unfortunately for the Panthers, it was the Sharks who pulled away for the final time in the match
