Melbourne, Florida – Florida Tech Volleyball returned home this afternoon for a Sunshine State Conference match-up against Saint Leo. After defeating Embry-Riddle on the road on Tuesday, the Panthers were looking to continue stacking wins early in conference play.

MATCH NOTES:
First Set: Florida Tech 25, Saint Leo Lions 20
- Saint Leo began the match with back-to-back service aces before Cordelia Kearns earned the game's first kill.
- Both teams traded kills, but more kills from Kearns gave the Panthers an 8-6 lead early in the first set.
- Neither side could gain any traction as the scoreline either remained tied or a difference of 1 point through the middle part of the set.
- Saint Leo took their first two-point lead at 19-17, but Tech brought it right back to one with a kill from Elisa Broggio.
- Kills from Devyn Glassgold and Hadley Waldren tied it up at 20 as the first set headed to the final five points.
- More kills from Waldren and Broggio sent the Panthers on a 5-0 run to close out the set and take a 1-0 lead in the match

- Looking to finish this match in three, the Panthers shot out to a quick 4-0 lead by way of four straight kills (Elisa Broggio, Cordelia Kearns 2x, and Isabelle Clark).
- The Panther lead continued to grow with more kills from Cordelia Kearns and Devyn Glassgold, making the scoreline 11-3 Tech.
- Saint Leo once again attempted a comeback, but the Panthers did not allow them to come within 4 points for the remainder of the set.
- Kills from Elisa Broggio and Cordelia Kearns mixed with a big block from Isabelle Clark put Tech in front 19-9 and looking to close the match out.
- Back-to-back kills from Kearns, another block from Clark and Lion attack errors allowed the Panthers to take the third set and complete the clean sweep.

- With the win this afternoon, Tech has now won three straight matches against Saint Leo.
- Florida Tech Volleyball is 3-1 to start Sunshine State Conference play, the best start in program history since 2013.
