LAKELAND, Fla. - The Florida Tech men's cross-country team continued postseason competition at the 2025 NCAA South Region Championships on Saturday morning at Holloway Park.
The field consisted of 126 runners who finished the 10K race, of which Tech had three finish in the Top 75. Their team score of 330 was good for 11th place in the 18-team field, less than 20 points outside the Top 10.
Four Panthers posted personal best times in the 10K, including Brycen Haner in his final race in the Crimson and Gray. Ben Peck was the top Panther runner in the event, earning 34th place with a 10K personal record time of 33:11.50 that was nearly a minute better than his time in this meet last year. Thomas Carpenter also set a new personal best time in the 10K, finishing 52nd thanks to his time of 34:08.66.
Tyler Herrera was the next Panther to cross the finish line, with his time of 34:31.20, good for 61st. Jack Schule took home 99th in his final race for Florida Tech thanks to his finish of 36:40.31. Haner's 10K personal best time of 37:18.30 placed him 104th. Ethan Mudur completed Tech's day, finishing 118th with a new personal best 10K time of 39:19.70.
