Sara Batchadji Named National Player of the Year by United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches has named Florida Tech's Sara Batchadji National Player of the Year on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
 
Sara Batchadji, a junior from Lubeck, Germany adds another award to her resume as she has already earned United Soccer Coaches First-Team All-South Region, D2CCA Second-Team All-South Region, CSC Academic All-District and All-SSC First-Team honors in 2025.
 
In 26 games played, Batchadji has five goals, five assist and 15 points as a defender this season. She opened the season with a goal against AUM on Sept. 9 then hit goals in back-to-back games against Rollins and Embry-Riddle on Sept. 24 and 27. Batchadji also found the back of the net against Lynn on Oct. 29. Her biggest goal of the season came against Cal Poly Pomona to send Tech to the first championship game appearance.
 
She has helped lead the Panthers to their third NCAA Final Four appearances and is now a part of two Final Four teams (2023). She also led the Panthers to their first National Championship in program history. Batchadji ends the season with career-highs in goals (5), points (15), shots (57) and shots on goal (27).
