Softball Prepares for Competitive 2026 Season

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech softball team has released its schedule for the upcoming 2025–26 season under the direction of head coach Val Silvestrini. The Panthers are set for a competitive slate that includes a solid non-conference schedule, hosting a tournament, and a full Sunshine State Conference schedule.

The spring season officially begins with the Gulf Shores Invitational from January 30 to February 1 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Tech will face Auburn Montgomery, Delta State, Montevallo, Valdosta State, Spring Hill, and West Alabama over the three-day event.

Florida Tech returns home on February 7 for a doubleheader against Flagler, followed by the Panthers hosting the Panther Invite on February 13–14, welcoming AUM, Embry-Riddle, and Angelo State to Melbourne.

Sunshine State Conference play opens on the road for Florida Tech with a three-game series at Palm Beach Atlantic on February 20–21 in West Palm Beach. The Panthers then return to Melbourne to host Florida Southern on February 27–28, marking their first SSC home series of the season.

March opens with a pair of home contests, as Tech hosts Wilmington in a doubleheader on March 5 before heading to Viera for neutral-site games against Goldey-Beacom and Findlay on March 6. The Panthers return home on March 7 for a doubleheader against Adelphi, followed by another trip to Viera to face Winona State and Indianapolis on March 11.

Conference action resumes with a road series at Nova Southeastern on March 13–14 in Fort Lauderdale. Florida Tech then returns home for a doubleheader against Molloy on March 17 before hosting Lynn for an SSC series on March 20–21. The Panthers close out the month with a conference road series at Saint Leo on March 27–28.

SSC play continues into April, beginning with a home series against Rollins on April 2–3. Tech remains in Melbourne the following weekend to host Embry-Riddle on April 10–11, before traveling to Eckerd for a key road series on April 17–18 in St. Petersburg.

Florida Tech wraps up Sunshine State Conference action with a home series against Tampa on April 24–25, highlighted by Senior Day, before closing the regular season on the road with a three-game series at Barry on May 1–2 in Miami Shores.
