MELBOURNE, Fla. – On the eve of opening day at the Gulf Shores Invitational, the Florida Tech softball team announced multiple schedule changes for the weekend in Alabama. The Panthers will remove three opponents and add two new teams to the slate.

Florida Tech will now play three games on Friday, none on Saturday, and two games on Sunday. The Panthers' first two matchups on Friday remain unchanged against No. 12 Auburn Montgomery and Delta State, before closing the day against No. 18 Rogers State at 4:15 p.m. ET.

Sunday's schedule also sees an adjustment, as Tech will no longer face Spring Hill. Instead, the Panthers will take on No. 6 North Georgia at 11 a.m. ET, followed by their originally scheduled contest against West Alabama.

Florida Tech will no longer play Montevallo or Valdosta State, with all Saturday games removed from the schedule.
