Melbourne, Fla. – The Panthers bounced back in the win column with a strong all-around performance against Flagler College, securing a 7-5 victory behind a big third-inning surge and solid pitching. The Panthers overcame defensive miscues to hold off the Saints and improve to 4-4 on the season.

- The Panthers broke the scoreless tie in the third inning, capitalizing on a wild pitch that allowed Jaden Hill to score. Carlos Guzman followed with an RBI single, bringing in Roman Samson, and Cole Patrick capped the rally with a two-run homer, giving Tech a 4-0 lead.
- The Saints would answer back with a single score from a single contributing to an RBI.
- The Panthers scored three more runs on the night to follow, once in the fourth inning and twice in the seventh.
- In the fourth inning, Hill grounded into a double play, resulting in Conner Wiggins scoring. In the seventh, Patrick singled, resulting in Guzman scoring, and Wiggins flied out, resulting in Patrick scoring.
- The Saints didn't give up easily as they scored twice in the sixth inning from a single bringing in two runs and two more times in the top of the ninth to make things interesting when an error resulted in an unearned score and a single resulted in an unearned score before a fly out would end the game and give the Panthers the win.
- Starting pitcher Sean Means earned his first win of the season, delivering a solid performance on the mound, facing 18 batters, throwing four innings, and allowing three hits, one run, with five strikeouts and zero walks.
- Reliever Noah Steckley secured his second save of the season, preserving the Panthers' lead in the final inning.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Cole Patrick led the offense with a home run and three RBIs, while Carlos Guzman added two hits and an RBI.
- Jaden Hill tied with Patrick in the lead for hits in the game, each with three.
- Sean Means finished with five strikeouts to lead the game, and Ethan Stephens made a nice appearance in relief as he struck out four, finishing with the second most in the game.
- Freshman Conner Wiggins achieved his first full lap around the diamond with a run in the fourth inning.
