Augusta, Ga. – The Panthers continued their winning momentum with a dominant 11-3 victory over Augusta University behind a strong start from Jacob Pino and an offensive surge led by Roman Samson. The Panthers controlled the game from start to finish, securing their second straight win and improving to 5-4 on the season.

- The Panthers took an early lead, scoring in the first and second innings to establish a 3-0 advantage.
- Roman Samson got the night started after his single resulted in Jaden Hill scoring the opening run in the first.
- In the second, Gabe Garrett grounded out, resulting in Anthony Fimiano scoring, and Conner Wiggins flied out, resulting in Jason Blackstone scoring.
- In the fifth, Hill scored once again as the result of a wild pitch, Samson collected his second RBI of the day, bringing Figueroa home, and the Jaguars got on the board after an error from Tech allowed a runner to score, 5-1.
- In the sixth inning, with the bases loaded, Figueroa walked, resulting in an RBI that brought home Garrett.
- A five-run seventh inning put the game out of reach, highlighted by a solo home run from Samson.
- Aside from the home run to start the inning, Hill walked with the bases loaded, resulting in an RBI bringing home Fimiano. Figueroa singled, gaining an RBI and bringing home Garrett, and Samson struck out but managed to reach first base on a wild pitch, and in the chaos, Hill scored, raising the score to 11-1.
- The Jaguars managed to collect two more runs before a fielder's choice would secure the final out and collect the win for the Panthers, 11-3.
- Starting pitcher Jacob Pino pitched six innings, allowing six hits and one run while walking two and striking out six, earning the win and improving his record to 1-0.
- Trenten Anderson secured the save, closing the final three innings, allowing two hits and two runs while walking two and striking out six.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Roman Samson and Pedro Figueroa led the offensive charge, each with three RBIs on the night, while Samson collected three hits and the lone home run for Tech, earning his second of the season.
- Jaden Hill added one RBI and tied Samson for a game-high three hits each.
- Anthony Fimiano recorded one hit while he and Gabe Garrett each collected two runs and two walks for Tech.
- Jacob Pino achieved a tying game-high six strikeouts for the second time this season, while reliever Trenten Anderson achieved the other game-high tying six strikeouts for the first time this season. This is also Anderson's third time achieving six strikeouts in his career.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- No single player for the Jaguars had more than one hit on the night.
- All-time vs. Augusta: 5-2.
- This is the first trip to Augusta for the Panthers since a three-game set on February 19-20, 2016. Florida Tech won two of three in that series.
