Augusta, Ga. – The Panthers finished games two and three against Augusta with a doubleheader split on Friday. The Panthers started strong with an 8-4 victory in Game one of the day, fueled by a four-run second inning and solid pitching. However, Augusta responded in Game two of the day with a big offensive outburst, handing Tech a 16-5 loss. The Panthers now turn their focus on tomorrow's final matchup against Augusta as they go for a gentlemen's sweep in the series.

- The Panthers scored four runs in the second inning, initiated by Roman Samson's run off a sacrifice fly by Jason Blackston. Conner Wiggins then singled to left field, driving in Cole Patrick and advancing Gabe Garrett to third, who later scored on an error, and Jaden Hill capped the inning with a two-RBI single, bringing the score to 4-0.
- In the bottom of the second, Augusta got on the board from a double that brought in one score, making it 4-1.
- Tech added a run in the fourth when Wiggins stole home, and three more in the fifth, highlighted by RBI singles from Anthony Fimiano, Blackston, and Hill, pushing the lead to 8-1.
