Augusta, Ga. – The Panthers wrapped up their series against Augusta University behind
Carlos Guzman's dominant performance in part of a 13-4 victory on Saturday evening at Jaguar Field. The Panthers set the tone early and continued adding on throughout the game, while strong pitching and defense helped secure the win.

- Jaden Hill got the final day of play started in the first inning for the Panthers after he scored on a wild pitch to put Tech up 1-0 over Augusta.
- Anthony Fimiano added to the lead with a double to left field, bringing in Roman Samson and Pedro Figueroa.
- To cap off the inning, Jason Blackstone hit a sacrifice fly to drive home Cole Patrick; Tech up 4-0 early.
- In the second inning, Carlos Guzman singled to left field, bringing home Conner Wiggins.
- In the third inning, the Jaguars got on the board via a triple that brought in a run and a single that brought in a run.
- The Panthers kept things rolling in the fourth inning after Samson singled, bringing home Figueroa and Wiggins.
- Tech then followed up with four runs in the fifth to go up by nine, 11-2.
- Wiggins doubled to left field, bringing in Gabe Garrett, and Guzman crushed a three-run homer, bringing in himself, Samson, and Fimiano.
- Augusta managed to get two more runs on the board in the fifth and seventh innings from a solo home run and a single that brought in a run.
- In the ninth inning, the Panthers put the final touches on the contest as Guzman singled to center field, bringing in Hill, and an error from the Jaguars brought in Figueroa, building the lead up to 13-4.
- Josh Beck earned his first win of the season as he started the game and lasted six innings, giving up three hits and three runs while walking four and striking out four.
- Payton McIntosh and Ryan Spitzer threw in relief. McIntosh lasted two innings, giving up four hits and one run while walking one and striking out two. Spitzer closed out the final inning, giving up zero hits and zero runs while walking two and striking out two.

- Tech scored three season-highs with 13 runs, 17 hits, and 12 RBIs on the day.
- Pedro Figueroa led the Panthers in runs on the day, collecting a season-high four.
- Carlos Guzman and Conner Wiggins led the Panthers in hits on the day, each with three, while four players, Jaden Hill, Figueroa, Roman Samson, and Anthony Fimiano, each collected two hits.
- Guzman accounted for a career-high six RBIs and had the lone home run.
- Every batter recorded a hit in the lineup, and all but two crossed home plate with a run
