Melbourne, Fla. – The Panthers battled hard in a doubleheader against No. 12 Florida Southern but ultimately came up short in both contests. Despite an early lead and a late-game rally, the Panthers fell 9-3 in game one and 7-4 in game two, as timely Moccasin hitting proved costly. Tech showed resilience at the plate, with solid performances from Cole Patrick, Marshall Burke, and Anthony Fimiano keeping the Panthers within striking distance.

- In the second inning, Roman Samson scored the game's first run after Marshall Burke reached a fielder's choice.
- Cole Patrick then followed by crossing the plate due to a fielding error, giving the Panthers an early 2-0 lead.
- Florida Southern responded in the fourth inning with an RBI single, bringing the score to 2-1.
- In the sixth inning, the Mocs took the lead with a two-run double, making it 3-2.
- Florida Southern extended their lead with a two-run single in the eighth, pushing the score to 5-2.
- In the ninth inning, the Mocs added four more runs from a single RBI and a three-run homer, bringing the score to 9-2.
- In the bottom of the inning, Adrian Dominquez, pinch-hitting for Tech doubled bringing in Patrick which would be the final run for the team as they fell 9-3 in game one of the day.

- To start the second game in the first inning Florida Southern jumped to an early lead with a two-run double, followed by a sacrifice fly, making it 3-0.
- The Mocs added to their lead in the fourth inning after an RBI single extended the lead to 4-0.
- In the fifth inning, Florida Southern added on another RBI single, and a triple down the left field line, bringing the score to 6-0.
- The Panthers responded in the fifth when Conner Wiggins scored on a throwing error, making it 6-1.
- Then up to bat, Wiggins reached on a fielder's choice, allowing Marshall Burke to score, reducing the deficit to 6-2.
- In the seventh inning, an RBI single increased the Mocs lead back up to five at 7-2.
- Burke then singled in the seventh and Patrick was able to cross home plate after an error.
- The Mocs suffered another error in the ninth inning after Burke struck out but via that error, he managed to reach first base and Roman Samson managed to collect the score for the Panthers.
- Tech had one more shot to win the game with the bases loaded but the Panthers went down swinging to take the loss 7-4.
- Josh Beck was the pitcher who took the loss for the Panthers, lasting one inning, giving up two hits, and three runs, while walking one and striking out none.
- Brayden DiCerb, Trenten Anderson, and Noah Steckley appeared in relief for Tech.
- Steckley made the most noise on the mound finishing the game's final two innings, allowing zero hits, and giving up one run while walking none and striking out a team-high four.

- Anthony Fimiano and Marshall Burke tied to lead the team in hits with three each and both each registered a double in the game.
