CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Men's Rowing concluded the season with a third-place finish in the C Final at the 2025 IRA National Championship Regatta, held on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.
Crews faced challenging conditions on Saturday, with high winds and choppy water. The Panthers got off the line quickly, with four of the six crews staying even through the first 500. Around the 750-meter mark, the Panthers began to slip into fourth. Coming up on the 1500-meter point, Tech regained momentum, walking through two boats to sit in second. In the final 250 meters, familiar foe Stetson overtook the Panthers, securing second and placing Tech third..
Marist claimed victory in the C Final with a time of 6:27.440, followed by Stetson (6:29.420) and Florida Tech (6:31.400). Rounding out the final were Stanford (6:34.570), Cornell (6:37.630), and Oklahoma City (6:42.800).
Florida Tech finished 15
th overall in the Varsity 4+ out of a field of 39 crews.
