MELBOURNE, Fla. – Head Coach
Katy Freels announces the Florida Tech Women's Soccer schedule for the 2025 season.
The 2025 slate includes 17 regular season games, 10 Sunshine State Conference opponents, seven home match ups and seven games against 2024 NCAA Tournament teams.
The Panthers are coming off a 13-3-3 record (8-1-1 SSC), their second SSC Championship in program history and ninth appearance in the NCAA tournament.
After two exhibitions in late August, Florida Tech opens the regular season at home at Rick Stottler Field on Thursday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. against Auburn Montgomery.
The Panthers will be tested against a pair of NCAA Tournament teams starting with a match up against Columbus State who is coming off a final four appearance in the tournament a season ago on Sunday, Sept. 7. Tech will travel to Montevallo, Ala. for a rematch with the Montevallo Falcons on Tuesday, Sept. 9. UM knocked out the Panthers in the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
Florida Tech will return to Melbourne to take on their third consecutive NCAA Tournament team on Saturday, Sept. 13 against the Flagler Saints at 7 p.m. Tech will wrap up their early-season non-conference slate at Palm Beach Atlantic on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Tech will begin Sunshine State Conference play with a three-game road trip, first a meeting with Nova Southeastern on Saturday, Sept. 20. The Panthers defeated the Sharks last season in the SSC Championship, 5-4 in penalty kicks. The Panthers will continue play away from home on Wednesday, Sept. 24 against Rollins and Saturday, Sept. 27 against Embry-Riddle.
The women's soccer team will start the new month of October at home against Saint Leo on Wednesday, Oct. 1. Next, the Panthers will step out of SSC play and travel to New Hampshire to take on two more NCAA Tournament teams from 2024. On Friday, Oct. 3, Tech will take on Franklin Pierce who was in the final four last season. Florida Tech will wrap up the quick two-game road trip with a match up against Southern New Hampshire on Sunday, Oct. 5.
After the road trip, the Panthers will welcome in Palm Beach Atlantic to Rick Stottler Field for their second match up of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
Following a road tilt with Tampa on Saturday, Oct. 11, Florida Southern makes the trip to Melbourne on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The last road regular season game will come against Eckerd on Saturday, Oct 25. Florida Tech concludes their 2025 regular season with games against Lynn on Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Barry on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The Panthers will celebrate Senior Day against the Buccaneers.
The SSC Tournament is set to begin on Nov. 10 with the championship coming on Sunday, Nov. 16.
The NCAA Tournament starts on Nov. 21 and Nov. 23 for the first and second rounds. The third round and quarterfinals are set for Dec. 5 and Dec. 7. The final four and National Championship are slated for Dec. 11 and Dec. 13. The Panthers are seeking their third consecutive trip to the tournament and 10
th in program history.
