GAME NOTES:
- The Panthers opened the scoring in the bottom of the first after Justis Meadows led off the inning with a base hit and came around to score.
- After AJ Wydra tossed two scoreless innings to begin his day on the mound, Barry got on the board in the top of the third to take a 3-1 lead.
- Wydra escaped a bases-loaded jam and went on to throw another shutout inning in the top of the fourth.
- The Panther offense was held silent for three straight innings as the Buccaneers tacked on another run in the fifth. Despite being held to one run through four innings, the Panthers earned at least one hit in every inning.
- In the bottom of the fifth, the hits finally turned into runs. Conner Wiggins, Justis Meadows and Marcello Cortale led off the inning with three straight singles. Adrian Dominguez made it four straight hits in a row when he doubled to score Meadows and Cortale and tie the game at 4-4.
- Reilly Kuhar entered the game in relief and produced a shutdown top of the sixth inning and the Panthers went back to work.
- Joseph Phan led off the bottom half of the inning with a single, ending up at third after Barry threw the ball down the right field line. Phan scored two batters later on a passed ball to give Tech a 5-4 lead.
- Kuhar went back out for the seventh and kept the lead at one by way of a 1-2-3 inning and the Panther bats rewarded him by breaking the game open in the bottom half.
- Gabe Roque doubled off the center field wall to lead off the inning and scored when the next batter, Marshall Burke, doubled to right center. A batter later, Joseph Phan launched a no-doubt two-run home run over the left field wall to put the Panthers up 8-4.
- Following another scoreless frame from Kuhar, Tech added two more runs to their lead in the bottom of the eighth. Marshall Burke earned another RBI base hit and after Tech loaded the bases, Joseph Phan drew a RBI walk to make the scoreline 10-4.
