LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced the coaches and players for the 2026 USILA Senior All-Star Game.

Thomas Strong,
Steve Ulrichs and
Jax Francisco have been selected to participate on the south team.
The USILA Senior All-Star Game is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Randolph-Macon College on Friday, May 22.

Garrett Gmeiner, a redshirt senior from Sykesville, Maryland, earns a spot on the All-Star team after a season where he set career-high's in ground balls with 26 and caused turnovers with 13. Gmeiner earned All-SSC Third Team honors after a 2026 season where he had six multi-ground ball games including two five ground ball games. He added three games with multiple caused turnovers.
Jax Francisco gets the nod in goal after earning Second Team All-American honors after a record-setting year. The redshirt senior from Westminster, Maryland became the first player in program history to be named South Region Defensive Player of the Year while also securing a spot on the All-South Region First Team. Francisco paced the Sunshine State Conference with 172 saves in the regular season, averaging 12.29 saves per game, before finishing the year with a program-record 203 saves. Along the way, he earned four SSC Defensive Player of the Week awards, was selected to the USILA Team of the Week and established himself as the SSC's all-time leader in saves.
Defenseman Steve Ulrichs was selected to the game also receiving Second Team All-American recognition after anchoring one of the conference's top defenses. A USILA All-Region First Team selection, Ulrichs previously earned spots on the All-SSC First Team and SSC All-Tournament Team. The defender finished seventh in the conference with 58 ground balls and recorded 39 caused turnovers, the second-most in the SSC. His strong season earned him three SSC Defensive Player of the Week honors and three appearances on the USILA Team of the Week.
Thomas Strong earns a spot on the team after being named an All-American a day ago. He received honorable mention honors after another productive offensive campaign. The senior attacker from Ellicott City, Maryland was named to the USILA All-Region Second Team after scoring a career-best 30 goals to lead Florida Tech and which was tied for seventh in the SSC. Strong also collected All-SSC First Team and SSC All-Tournament Team recognition.
