Reilly Rhodes Joins Athletic Training Staff

Melbourne, Fla. – Florida Tech Athletics and Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine Luis Velez have announced the hiring of Reilly Rhodes as an assistant athletic trainer. Rhodes joins the Panther training room after completing an internship at the University of Delaware.

Rhodes holds a master's degree in athletic training from the University of Delaware and has spent two years working in the athletic training department. She has also worked as an athletic trainer at Silverside Urgent Care and at Salesianum School. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (Since July 2024), the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association (Since July 2024), the Delaware Athletic Trainers' Association (Since July 2024), and the Athletic Training Student Association (Since August 2021). Rhodes also holds certifications from the American Heart Association BLS and First Aid Provider (May 2027), SciShield Bloodborne Pathogens Training (July 2026).

Assistant AD for Sports Medicine Luis Velez on Rhodes joining the department, ""I am excited to have Reilly joining our expanded Sports Medicine Team here. We look forward to what she will contribute to our team as she brings energy coming from a quality educational background that has her ready to provide a high standard of care for the scholar-athletes she will serve here at Florida Tech."

Reilly will officially join Florida Tech on July 6th and will be working with Men's Cross Country/Distance Track, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Men's Rowing.
