MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association has announced the 2026 class of Empacher-IRCA All-Americans with Florida Tech's Sandro Gardella earning the honors. The Empacher-IRCA honored 106 rowers and coxswains who met the criteria to be named 1^st team, 2^nd team or Honorable Mention All-American, representing 38 teams.
 
A native of La Punta, Callao, Peru, Sandro Gardella was a part of the V4+ that placed third at the Head of the Charles and the V8+ that earned second place at the First Coast Head Race. Gardella aided Tech to a fourth-place finish in the C Final at the 2026 IRA National Championship.
