RICHMOND, Va. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division II Scholar All-America Teams were announced for the 2026 spring semester with Florida Tech's men's and women's teams making the list.
To earn this honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the 2026 spring semester. The CSCAA selected 714 teams from 418 institutions for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Collectively, these teams represent 16,680 student-athletes from across all collegiate divisions.
Under Head Coach
Tony Marleneanu, the men's team combined for 3.18 GPA while the women's team 3.67.

Akos Hajagos,
Lucas Mitchelmore,
Abby Briggs and
Melissa Zucco were named Individual Scholar All-Americans.
Hajagos earns his first Scholar All-American nod after earning a 3.50 GPA in his business administration courses. He was named First Team All-SSC as well as an All-American in the 100 and 200 Fly and 400 and 800 Free Relays.
Mitchelmore is the second on the Panthers men's team to earn the honor after receiving a 3.46 GPA in his aviation management classes. He was named an All-American in the 200, 400 and 800 Free Relays.
Briggs earned a perfect 4.00 GPA in her marine biology classes. She won five events during the 2025-26 season and finished on the podium 12 times.
Zucco is the fourth and final Panther named to the Scholar All-American list after earning a 3.98 GPA in her aerospace engineering courses. Zucco totaled seven first-place finishes and had 10 podium finishes last season.
