EVANSVILLE, In. - The Florida Tech men's swimming team wraps up their trip to the 2026 NCAA National Championships on Saturday, Mar. 14.
The day started with
Efe Ongoren competing in the 100 free which he swam a time of 45.40.
Akos Hajagos followed up as he took on the 200 back where he notched a time of 1:46.05. Hajagos finished inside the top-20 but did not qualify for session two.
In the night cap, Ongoren, Hajagos,
Lucas Mitchelmore and
Andy Pleiman swam in the 400 free relay. The team combined for a time of 2:57.21 which placed Tech in 15th for the event.
The Panthers finished with 39 teams points which placed the team in 21st for the whole meet. Tech's 39 points was the most points scored by the program since 2019.
