Melbourne, Fla. (Baseball) - Florida Tech took it's second loss of the season in a mid-week game against Flagler College on Wednesday night. The Panthers accumulated 10 hits and five runs throughout the game, generated runs came off two doubles, one triple, and a homerun from Nick Capra. 

The Saints struck early when they scored three runs off of five hits in the first two innings, however it wasn't enough for the Panthers who scored four runs off of four hits which brought the score to 4-3 at the bottom of the second. Florida Tech strengthened their lead when James Gronberg hit a hard single to center field which brought Dan Szpik home, extending the gap to 5-3.

Flagler answered in the 6th when they took the lead with three runs off of three hits and kept the Panthers scoreless through the rest of the game. The Saints locked in their win when they scored eight more runs throughout the rest of the game.

Some notable Panthers were Reid Neal who went 3-for-5 at the plate with one run and one RBI. John Sternagel also scored a run and went 2-for-3 at bat while Capra went 2-for-3 with a monster homerun during his first at bat. 

Sam Crocker was dealt his first loss of the season after pitching 2.1 innings with three allowed runs and four hits which gave them a 6-5 lead in the top of the 6th.
