CAMBRIDGE, Ma. – Florida Tech kicked off its season with an impressive effort on Sunday at the Head of the Charles Regatta. Â

Competing in the men's Championship Fours against a slew of strong Division I opponents, Tech finished sixth overall in the competition with a time of 16:21.093. USTC-Oakland won the event at 15:34.079 but the Panthers were able to hold off the likes of Syracuse, Brown, Oregon State and Wisconsin to finish in the top half of the field.Â
