- In the 14' Kate Frazier was unlucky not to score after she smashed a shot off the left crossbar from outside the box.
- 25 minutes into the game, Moa Karlsson for the Eagles found the end of a loose ball in the box but Maria Sanchez Recuero was ready at her near post to make the save.
- At halftime, the Panthers had five shots on goal while the Eagles had just one.
- The match was decided on a corner kick that found the head of Hattie Kettle in the 59' to give Embry-Riddle the lead.
- Jessica Cravero in the 67' hit a great shot with her left foot across goal, but Eagles goalkeeper Oona Jokinen was there to make a great save.
- Cravero had another chance in the 83' to tie the match, but her shot rattled off the crossbar and out of harm's way.
