MELBOURNE, Fla. – Head Coach
Katy Freels has announced the Florida Tech women's soccer schedule for the upcoming 2026 season.
The 2026 slate includes 18 regular season games featuring seven teams that made the NCAA Tournament a season ago, a National Championship rematch and 11 home matches.
Tech is coming off a historic 2025 season that ended in the Panthers hoisting their first National Championship in program history. They went 17-3-6 including 5-2-3 in SSC play and punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the 10
th time in program history.
After three exhibitions in the middle of August, Florida Tech will open the 2026 season on Thursday, Aug. 27 against the team they beat in the championship match, Franklin Pierce. Game set for a 5:00 p.m. start at Rick Stottler Field. The Panthers will play again that Saturday at 7:00 p.m. against Southern New Hampshire. Tech handled SNHU last season 2-0.
The following weekend, the Panthers welcome in Ashland on Thursday, Sept. 3 and Tusculum on Saturday, Sept. 5. Ashland made it to the second round of the NCAA's last season.
Florida Tech will begin Sunshine State Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 12 as they take on Nova Southeastern in Melbourne, Fla. They clashed three times last season including bouts in the SSC Championship and the South Region Championship. They will end their early season six-game home stand against Catawba on Sept. 16.
The Panthers will hit the road for the first time in 2026 on Sept. 19 as they travel to Saint Leo. They will take on Lynn in Boca Raton in midweek action on Sept. 23. Tech comes home for a quick two-game stretch against Eckerd on Saturday, Sept. 26 and Embry-Riddle on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Florida Tech will travel across the country for two tough opponents as they play against Colorado Mesa on Friday, Oct. 2 and Westminster on Sunday, Oct. 4. This will be the first time the Panthers will square off with both opponents in program history.
Tech returns to Florida as they'll take on Barry in Miami Shores on Oct. 7, Tampa at home on Oct. 10 and Palm Beach Atlantic in West Palm Beach on Oct. 14.
The Panthers step out of conference play one last time as North Georgia pays Tech a visit on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 1:00 p.m. Tech will celebrate Senior Day against Rollins on Oct. 21. The final regular season game will come on the road against Florida Southern on Oct. 27.
The 2026 Sunshine State Conference Tournament is set to take place between Nov. 2 through Nov. 8.
The NCAA Tournament first and second round will take place on Nov. 12 and Nov. 15. The third round and quarterfinals are set for Nov. 19 and Nov. 22. The final four and National Championship are slated for Dec. 3 and Dec. 5.
