COACH'S CORNER
"Today was a great day for us," said head coach
David Dent. "This morning we swam right where I was expecting, with quite a few swimmers hitting best times. We ended the morning with the 1000 Free, and our swimmers in that event stepped up and swam lights out. I really think that it motivated everyone.
"We came back for finals and Sav absolutely crushed the final of the 1000, broke her own school record by 6 seconds and won the race. The excitement from that race carried onto the rest of the night and every race was exceptional. Tomorrow is a good day for us event wise, and we're ready for it."
UP NEXT
Friday morning will see prelims in the morning for the 400 IM, 100 fly and 200 free, followed by the finals in the evening. Prelims are expected to begin at 10 a.m. with the finals starting around 6 p.m. The 400 medley relay finals will also be held in the evening.
