MELBOURNE, Fla. – After a 5-0 start to the season, Florida Tech women's lacrosse has climbed up the national rankings and now sits at No. 19 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20 poll.

The Panthers are coming off wins over Tusculum (18-6) and No. 16 Lander (13-9) last week to improve to 5-0 for just the third time in program history. The win over the Bearcats is Florida Tech's first win over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 5 Regis (14-13) on March 3, 2020.Â

Tech has outscored opponents 91-38 this season, it's the most goals scored in the first five games of the season in program history.Â

The Panthers are also receiving votes in the IWLCA national poll this week.Â

Florida Tech is back in action on Monday, March 21 hosting Montevallo at Panther Stadium. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
