OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – The men's rowing team is bringing home some hardware after Saturday's racing at the SIRA Championship Regatta at Melton Hill Lake.Â

All three boats made it to the A Final in their respective categories. The Varsity 4+ earned a silver medal and the Varsity 8+ picked up a bronze. Florida Tech finished just out of medal position in the Doubles with the crew posting a time of 7:43.267, less than one second behind third place Notre Dame (7:42.616).Â

The V4+ placed first in its semifinal with a time of 7:00.384 and advanced to the A Final, where the crew claimed second place with a time of 7:03.972. Embry-Riddle took the top spot at 7:01.573.Â

The Varsity 8+ finished second overall in their semifinal, crossing the line at 6:12.400. In the A Final, the Panthers earned third place at a time of 6:15.866. Colgate (6:10.823) and Jacksonville (6:14.347) claimed the top two spots.Â
