LEONIA, NJ. – Florida Tech had an impressive day at the National Collegiate Lightweight Invitational as the men's Lightweight 4+ earned a win and a runner-up result against strong competition at Overpeck Park.
 
The Panthers opened the day with a second-place finish with a time of 7:17.057, crossing the line a few seconds back of Mercyhurst (7:13.189) and ahead of both Harvard (7:35.787) and California (7:56.344). 
 
In the afternoon race, Florida Tech jetted down the course and finished nearly 18 seconds faster than the morning session at 6:59.655. The Panthers edged out Columbia (7:02.787) while Harvard finished third (7:16.911).
