STATS OF GAME:
- The Tars struck first in the bottom of the third when Chase Achuff hit a homerun to left field. Adams Torres then followed in Achuff's footsteps and homered to left field, giving Rollins a 2-0 lead.
- Torres singled through the left side in the bottom of the seventh, scoring Jared Herron, extending the Tars lead 3-0.
- Jeslyn Whitehead hit a sacrifice fly to Sam Schner in center field, plating Rubin.
- Dylan Dohanos singled up the middle in the top of the first.
- Dylan Owens walked in the top of the fourth. Alec Eldridge singled up the middle, advancing Owens to second.
- Joey Hecht pitched six innings, allowing seven hits, three runs, while throwing 91 pitches.
- Danny Vassallo pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing one hit, one run, and faced four batters.
- Aiden Pryzgoda closed the game for the Panthers, allowing no hits, no runs, and threw 11 pitches across four batters.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This was the first meeting between Florida Tech and Rollins since the season opener on February 2, 2022. The Tars now lead the all-time series 80-71-1.
- Dylan Dohanos extended his hitting streak to six with his single in the top of the first.
