SPARKS, Md. – Kailee O'Brien has been selected an Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse.Â

This is O'Brien's first All-America award. She becomes the ninth Panther in program history to receive the distinction.Â

The Lewis Center, Ohio product earned First Team All-SSC honors this season after leading the Florida Tech defense with 43 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers to go along with nine goals, five assists and 13 draw controls. O'Brien set a new school record with 10 ground balls against Saint Leo on April 9 and her 3.07 ground balls per game in 2022 ranks second in program history.Â
