MELBOURNE, Fla.- Florida Tech Scholar-Athletes had another outstanding semester in the classroom during the 2023 spring semester finishing with a combined 3.25 athletic department grade point average.
The spring's 3.252 GPA features six Panther Varsity programs that recorded a 3.30 team GPA or better, while 11 Florida Tech teams earned above a 3.20.
In total, 238 Florida Tech Scholar-Athletes recorded a 3.0 GPA or better during the spring semester, including 66 Panthers who posted a perfect 4.00 GPA.
Tech's women's basketball team led all Panther programs with a 3.658 team GPA. Volleyball was next at 3.557, followed by women's soccer (3.545), women's lacrosse (3.425), and women's swimming (3.339).
On May 6, 49 Panthers received their undergraduate or graduate degrees during Florida Tech's Spring Commencement ceremonies held at the Clemente Center.
