MELBOURNE, Fla. – The 2024-25 men's and women's swimming schedule was announced by Florida Tech head coach, Tony Marleneanu. The schedule features three home meets and four away meets.

The Panthers are coming off a 2023-24 campaign that saw both teams finish in sixth at the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Championships.
Akos Hajagos from the men's team qualified for the NCAA National Championship in both the 200 Fly and the 400 IM, earning a second-place finish in the 200 Fly.
Kate Helminiak qualified for NCAAs on the women's side in the 500 freestyle.

"I am super excited to begin the upcoming season, especially it being my first in charge of the program," said Marleneanu. "Both the men's and women's teams are very talented and highly motivated, and I look forward to watching them compete this year."

Tech begins the 2024-25 campaign with a home meet against SCAD on Saturday, Oct. 12. Just under a week later, the Panthers welcome in Florida Southern for another home meet on Friday, Oct. 18.

The first road meet will be on Saturday, Oct. 26 when Tech heads to Winter Park, Fla. to square off with Rollins.

The next competition takes place from Thursday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Queens Fall Frenzy, hosted by Queens University in Charlotte, N.C. The four-day meet will take place at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center and will feature several different teams from around the country.

Tech then welcomes in Lynn for an SSC meet at home on Thursday, Dec. 19. This will be the final home meet of the season.

The Panthers then travel back to Winter Park, Fla. for a tri-meet with Rollins and Oklahoma Christian on Friday, Jan. 10. SSC competition continues on Saturday, Jan. 25 when Tech heads to Boca Raton to faceoff with Lynn again.

The SSC Championships are set to be held from Wednesday, Feb. 12 to Sunday, Feb. 16 in Ocala, Fla.

The NCAA Championships are scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 to Saturday, March 16 in Indianapolis, Ind.
