EVANSVILLE, In. – The Florida Tech swimming team completes day three of the 2026 NCAA National Championships on Thursday, Mar. 12.
Akos Hajagos competed in the 100 fly while
Efe Ongoren swam in the 200 free.
Hajagos placed 12
th with a time of 47.21 which earned himself a spot in the "B" final. He was .26 away from an "A" final appearance. Ongoren competed in his first individual event of his second nationals' trip in his career. He swam a time of 1:37.06 which was just .03 making it into the "B" finals. His time would place 17
th.
Hajagos would return to the pool in session two in the consolation final. He would earn the Panthers four points as he placed 13
th with a finals time of 47.44.
Florida Tech will return to the pool Friday, Mar. 13 as all six Panthers will compete in day four of the 2026 NCAA National Championships.
