MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech men's lacrosse team unveiled its 2025 schedule under the direction of head coach
Brad MacArthur. The Panthers are scheduled to play 15 games, with seven home contests.
Tech finished the 2024 campaign with a 6-9 overall record and a semifinal appearance in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Tournament.
"We always want to challenge ourselves in non-conference play as we prepare to face some of the best teams in the country early on," said MacArthur. "The Sunshine State Conference is one of the toughest leagues to compete in and we look forward to the challenge. We had a strong Fall and look to continue to build on that foundation as the 2025 season begins."
The Panthers open the season at home in the confines of Rick Stottler Field on Saturday, Feb. 1 with a non-conference matchup against Tampa. The following Saturday, Feb. 8, Tech will welcome North Greenville to Melbourne.
The first road game of the season will take place on Feb. 15 in Saint Augustine, Fla. against Flagler.
The road trip will continue the following weekend with a two-game swing in North Carolina. On Feb. 22 the Panthers will square off with Wingate before turning around and taking on Lees-McRae on Feb. 23.
After a two-week break, Tech then travels for a neutral site contest against Mercy at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on March 8.
The Panthers return to Stottler Field for a two-game home stretch against Alabama-Huntsville on March 15 and Colorado Mesa on March 18.
SSC play begins on March 22 on the road against Tampa. A week later, Tech takes on Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Fla. on March 29.
The April slate begins back in Melbourne when Tech hosts Palm Beach Atlantic on April 2 before battling with Florida Southern on the road in Lakeland on April 5.
The final two home games of the regular season take place on April 9 against Lynn and April 12 against Rollins. The Panthers will have senior day to honor the class of 2025 following the game against Rollins.
The Panthers round out the regular season on the road against Saint Leo on April 16.
