ORLANDO, Fla. -- Florida Tech's Tai Roberts has been named the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Player of the Week after a standout stretch filled with high-scoring performances and a significant career milestone.

This is Roberts' first SSC Player of the Week honor and the program's first since Shequana Harris earned the award during the 2015–16 season.

The senior averaged 18.3 points per game across three contests, finishing with scoring totals of 12, 15, and 28 while helping the Panthers to a 2–1 record. In all, she posted 55 points on 17-for-44 shooting and added 18 rebounds, four assists, and five steals.

Roberts opened the Tampa Thanksgiving Classic with her third career double-double, registering 15 points and 10 rebounds. She followed that performance with a dominant outing against Davis and Elkins, pouring in a career-best 28 points. The effort pushed her past 1,000 career points, making her the 12th Panther in program history to reach the milestone.

Florida Tech concludes its seven-game season-opening road trip on Wednesday, December 3, traveling to Winter Park to take on Rollins at 5:30 p.m. ET.
