MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech women's lacrosse continued to garner postseason honors as attacker Sophia Scichilone was named to the IWLCA All-South Region Second Team.

The Lake Worth native, who is Florida Tech's all-time leader in assists, had a standout 2025 season with career highs in goals (39), assists (41), points (80), and an .818 shot-on-goal percentage. She ranked third in the SSC in assists per game (2.17) and eighth in points per game (4.33). This marks Scichilone's first IWLCA All-Region selection and caps a season in which she also earned All-SSC First Team honors.

Scichilone is the first Panther to earn IWLCA All-South Region since Kailee O'Brien in 2022 and the first attacker since Caroline Dunleavy and Sara Grenier in 2018.
