NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has released its 2026 Division II Preseason Coaches Poll with Florida Tech ranked 24^th.
 
The Panthers are coming off a 6-12 season (2-5 SSC) where they earned the 4^th seed in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament. Last season, Tech was ranked as high as 19^th.
 
In 2026, the Panthers have a gauntlet of a season where they will face off against ranked SSC foes such as the defending national champions and currently number one ranked team Tampa, No. 3 Florida Southern, No. 9 Embry-Riddle, No. 10 Saint Leo, No. 11 Lynn and No. 19 Rollins.
 
Tech will be tested early in their non-conference schedule as they will battle against No. 2 Adelphi, No. 12 Flagler, No. 13 Regis, No. 18 Grand Valley State and No. 20 Lander.
 
Florida Tech will open their season on Saturday, Feb. 7 at No. 19 Rollins at 6:00 p.m. EST.
