MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's lacrosse team had four student-athletes selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District team.
Phoebe Hurt,
Michaela Wittman,
Ashley Walter and
Abbie Ogren represent the Panthers on the CSC Academic All-District team.
Hurt, a Junior from Manchester, England, earned a 3.73 GPA in her biochemistry courses. In 2024, she was named to Florida Tech's Athletic Directors Honor Roll as well as the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll. Hurt started all 18 games for the Panthers and recorded 11 goals, three assists, 23 groundballs, 16 caused turnovers and 42 draw controls.
Wittman, a native of Greer, South Carolina, notched a 3.82 GPA in her biomedical engineering classes. Like Hurt, Wittman was named to Florida Tech's Athletic Directors Honor Roll as well as the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll. She Registered five goals, two assists, 14 groundballs, nine caused turnovers, and 33 draw controls as she started all 18 games for the Panthers in 2025.
Walter, a graduate student from Barnegat, New Jersey, earned a 4.00 GPA in her MBA courses. This season she earned the Outstanding Student of the Year award for the Nathan M. Bisk College of Business. In 2024, Walter was named to Florida Tech's Athletic Directors Honor Roll and the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll. She started all 18 games this season and registered 20 groundballs and cause nine turnovers.
Ogren, a Hollis, New Hampshire native, earned a 3.2 GPA in her global management and finance classes. She played in all 18 games for the Panthers this season and recorded six groundballs and five caused turnovers. Last year, Ogren was named to Florida Tech's Athletic Directors Honor Roll and the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
