KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Florida Tech women's soccer team was tabbed the No. 21 team in Division II, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches.
The Panthers are fresh off their 13-3-3 season (8-1-1 SSC) which included their ninth trip to the NCAA Tournament in program history. Tech won the Sunshine State Conference Championship for the second time in program history a season ago.
This season, the Panthers are scheduled to play five teams ranked in the poll. SSC rivals Nova Southeastern are receiving votes inside the poll as the two teams are the only schools from the SSC that are ranked. Florida Tech has a tough schedule ahead as they play No. 2 Columbus State, No. 6 Franklin Pierce, No. 19 Montevallo and No. 20 Southern New Hampshire, all away games.Â
Florida Tech opens the 2025 season at home against Auburn Montgomery on Thursday, Sept. 4. Opening kickoff is schedule for 7 p.m. at Rick Stottler Field in Melbourne, Fla.
