Men's Hoops Announces 2025-26 Schedule

Melbourne, Fla. – Florida Tech Men's Basketball and Head Coach Will Murphy have released their official schedule ahead of the 2025-26 season. The Panthers will open the year with nine straight road contests across the month of November, followed by five straight home games before the turn of the new year. The full schedule features a prominent Division I program, competitive non-conference matchups, and ten games against 2024-25 NCAA Tournament teams, making this year one that fans do not want to miss.

Tech will open the new era of Panther Basketball with an exhibition match-up against Division I Florida Atlantic. The first official games of the season will see the Panthers travel to Valdosta, Georgia, to face Edward Waters and Valdosta State (2024-25 NCAA Tournament Team) on November 15th and 16th. Tech will then head to Bluffton, South Carolina, for a Men's and Women's doubleheader against USC Beaufort before heading south for their Sunshine State Conference opener at Palm Beach Atlantic. To wrap up the road non-conference schedule, the Panthers will travel to Americus, Georgia, to take on Auburn Montgomery and Georgia Southwestern before heading east to play at Albany State.

Men's Basketball will then face Rollins to close out the run of the run games to start the year and return home on December 6th for the team's home opener against Saint Leo. Tech will stay home to take on Eckerd (Dec. 16th), followed by hosting Claflin and Michigan Tech (2024/25 NCAA Tournament Team) for the Florida Tech Holliday Classic on December 19th and 20th. The Panthers close out 2025 with a New Year's Eve battle for the Karmin Cup Trophy against Embry-Riddle.

The Panthers will begin 2026 with four straight tournament teams from last season, starting with back-to-back SSC road contests against Tampa and Lynn. Tech will return home to face Florida Southern before going back out on the road to take on the reigning national champions, Nova Southeastern. The first home games when students return from the winter break will take place on January 21st and 24th, when the Panthers host Barry and Tampa. Men's Basketball will then turn their attention to the final Karmin Clash game of the season when they travel to Embry-Riddle on Jan. 28th before wrapping up the first month of the year on the road against Saint Leo.

The final month of the regular season will see the Panthers wrap up SSC play with three road contests and home games against Rollins, Palm Beach Atlantic and Nova Southeastern. The regular season will come to a close with a home contest against Lynn (Feb. 28 – Senior Day). The Sunshine State Conference Tournament is slated to begin on March 3rd, with games being played at various host sites.
