GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Tech men's indoor track wrapped up their competition in the ACSEC Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center Invitational, as three different Panthers posted personal best times.
In the 5000 Meter Run, Alvaro Cameo placed 31st with a time of 17:35.60.
Jaden Garris set a new personal record time of 8.62s in the 60 Meter Hurdle prelims.
Bradley Erskine Jr. posted a new personal in the 60 Meter Dash prelims of 7.25s.
The 800 Meter Run saw Jason Hargesheimer (1:56.79) earned ninth and Filippo Bessi (1:57.10) earned 11th. Tommy Wodazak Jr's personal best time of 1:59.16 was good for 25th.
Tech closed the meet in the 4x400 relay, where Bessi, Hargesheimer, Wodazak and Mikey Roberts combined for a time of 3:21.61 to secure a fourth place finish. The team of Garris, Diego Estebanes, Gavin MacCoy and Austin Clate grabbed sixth with a time of 3:28.31. The group of Alex Moynihan, Shawn Immanuel, Morgan Lee and Cameo posted a 3:49.63 time for 13th.
