GAME NOTES:
- The Panthers had the game's first scoring opportunity in the top of the first inning when a walk to Adrian Dominguez, a Marcello Cortale single and a Marshall Burke walk loaded the bases only for the Eagles to escape the jam when Gabe Roque struck out.
- Embry-Riddle made Florida Tech pay immediately for not cashing in as a leadoff single and a pair of doubles gave the Eagles a 2-0 lead.
- The Eagles put the game beyond reach in the bottom of the third as a two-out RBI single, a bases loaded hit batsman and a throwing extended the Embry-Riddle lead to five.
- Tech's best chance to get back in the game came in the top of the sixth, which began with a Conner Wiggins leadoff single, followed by a Dominguez double.
- Burke got the Crimson and Gray on the board with a one-out opposite field RBI single just beyond the reach of the second baseman.
- After the Eagles lifted their starting pitcher, Roque greeted the reliever with a first pitch single through the box to plate Dominguez and make it a 5-2 game.
- Florida Tech had the tying run at the plate before Anthony Fimiano popped out and William Rollings flew out to end the inning.
- The Eagles found insurance in the bottom of the seventh, scoring on a wild pitch to conclude the scoring.
- The Panthers had one batter reach base over their final three turns at bat.
