WINTER PARK, FLA. – Panther baseball was back on the road this afternoon to begin a three-game SSC series with Rollins College.

Final: Florida Tech Panthers 5, Rollins College Tars 8
Records: Florida Tech (15-17, 6-10 SSC)
| Rollins College (21-9, 12-4 SSC)
Location: Alfond Stadium

GAME NOTES:
- After two scoreless innings from the Tech offense, Rollins jumped on the board in the bottom of the second with a two-run double in the gap.
- Trying to respond right away, Conner Wiggins reached base via an error and Dylan Fatovich earned the first hit of the game for the Panthers with a single to right center. However, both runners were left stranded, and the tars remained out front 2-0.
- The Tars added more runs to their early lead with four straight hits, including a three-run home run to take a 6-0 lead.
- The Panthers got one back in the top of the fourth after Anthony Fimiano smoked a ball off the left field wall to score Adrian Dominguez from first.
- The five-run deficit did not last long as Rollins plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth to grow their lead to seven with an 8-1 advantage.
- Jake Hill entered the game in relief for the Panthers and tossed two straight shutout innings to keep the Panthers alive.
- Anthony Fimiano continued his strong day at the plate in the top of the seventh by blasting a ball over the wall for a solo home run.
- Fimiano's homer gave the Panthers some momentum as BJ Graham and Marshall Burke both singled in the ninth. The next batter, Jaden Hill, launched a no-doubt three-run home run over the scoreboard in left field to make it a three-run game.
- Unfortunately for Tech, the late rally was not enough as Rollins held on to take the first game of the series.
FINAL: Florida Tech 5, Rollins College 8
