Five Panthers Represent Tech on All-SSC Teams, Most Since 2018

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's lacrosse team had five scholar-athletes receive All-Conference recognition. The Panthers landed two of the First Team and three on the Second Team. The five honorees are the most in a single season since 2018.
 
Gillian Craig, a redshirt senior from Merritt Island, Florida, earns First Team honors after being named to the Second Team a season ago. Craig scored a career-high 64 goals this season which was second in the Sunshine State Conference and second in a single season in Tech's program history. Her 72 points are the seventh most in a season in program history. Additionally, she recorded 13 games where she scored three goals or more and she tied a single-game record for most goals in a game which she did against No. 14 Rollins on Apr. 4 with seven goals. Craig was named SSC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season.
 
Sophia Scichilone, a senior from Lake Worth, Florida, was named to the All-SSC First Team for the second consecutive season. Scichilone was an assist machine as she broke her own single season record with 46 assists in 2026. She had the second most assists in the SSC while she added 26 goals. Her historic season including breaking the career points recorded as she had 271 points in her career. Scichilone had a legendary game against No. 14 Rollins where she had the second most points in a game with 12 and the second most assists in a game with nine. She was lethal on the attack other than assisting teammates as she had four hat tricks this season.
 
Abby Cudzilo, a junior from Ellicott City, Maryland, receives Second Team honors in her first season as a Panther. Cudzilo was plugged into the Tech starting lineup and delivered the third most assists in the SSC with 35. She added to the offensive firepower with 26 goals including six games with three or more goals. Cudzilo shinned in the win against No. 5 Lynn with a 10-point game with three goals and seven assists.

Sofie Bender, a junior from Ellicott City, Maryland, was named to the SSC Second Team for the first time in her career after scoring 36 goals which is the 12th most in the SSC. Bender scored in 16 out of 17 games this season and had 11 multi-goal games with seven hat tricks. She added a career-high eight power play goals and eight assists. Additionally, Bender had career-highs in both shot percentage (.507) and shots on goal percentage (.845).

Phoebe Hurt, a senior from Manchester, England, was fifth and final Panther to be named to the All-Conference squad as she landed on the Second Team. Hurt did it all for the Panthers as she set career-highs in goals, points, ground balls, caused turnovers and draw controls. Her two-way ability aided the Panthers as she had seven multi-goal games and nine games with multiple caused turnovers.
