MELBOURNE, Fla. – The swimming teams held their 2021-22 home opener Friday afternoon at the Panther Aquatic Center against Lynn and Saint Leo.
The men were victorious against both of their opponents' thanks to three wins and 12 top three finishes. Taking home individual victories were John Fonnotto in the 200 fly (1:55.02) and Max Martino in the 50 free (21.68). The team of Daniel Aizenberg, Sean Foster, Fonnotto, and Max Martino earned a win in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:33.74.
The women recorded three wins and five top three finishes. Savannah Brennan recorded a victory in her first home event of the season with a 10:28.47 finish in the 1000 free while Katherine Helminiak won the 500 free (5:11.20) and Kennedy Nolan earned the 200 fly (2:08.50).

The Panthers will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 11 A.M. against Keiser at the Panther Aquatic Center.
