MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech women's soccer has clinched a berth into the 2021 NCAA Division II Tournament.

The Panthers earned the No. 5 seed in the South Region and will face No. 4 seed Mississippi College in the opening round of the tournament on Friday, at 1 p.m. at Lee Soccer Field in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Florida Tech, who is led by Ryan Moon in his first full season as head coach, went 10-3-5 this season and finished runner-up in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament after falling to Embry-Riddle 1-0 in Sunday's championship game. This will be the first ever meeting between the Panthers and Choctaws on the pitch.

The winner of Friday's matchup will take on Lee, the top seed in the South Region, in the second round on Sunday.

The third round and quarterfinals are set for Dec. 3-5 at a location to be determined. The semifinals and championship game will be held Dec. 9-11 at Switchbacks FC Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
